The Dekalb County Youth Committee of the NAACP recently conducted a successful sock and donation drive, addressing the needs of senior citizens in DeKalb county. The drive yielded a collection of over 100 socks, blankets, and hygiene items, which were donated to Pruitt Health Senior Center. Led by Youth Advisor Ayesha Watson, the Youth Committee developed strategic partnerships with Morrow High School Beta Club, local partners, Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Pruitt Health, culminating in a lasting community partnership during the Christmas holiday season.
