The NAACP DeKalb stands as a beacon of hope, justice, unity, and action for our community. We are educators, business owners, students, veterans, faith leaders, workers, organizers, and families united by one common purpose to ensure freedom, equality, opportunity, and dignity for all people.

We believe that when people come together with vision, discipline, faith, and courage, there is no obstacle too great to overcome.  As a people, we have always turned struggle into strength, pain into purpose, and obstacles into opportunities. Our history proves that change does not come from silence — it comes from organized people who are willing to stand, speak, vote, build, lead, and serve.
