Edwina Clanton is a highly engaged community activist who currently is the President of the NAACP DeKalb and holds a Silver Life Membership. With deep roots in her community, Edwina has dedicated herself to serving and making a positive impact.
Beyond her involvement in civil rights and social justice, Edwina has an extensive background in the real estate industry. She retired from the State of Georgia and now serves as the Principal Broker/Owner of East Metro Brokers, a boutique real estate firm. With over 13 years of experience, Edwina has honed her expertise in various real estate transactions, including commercial land and residential sales, property management, and investments. Her passion for the industry is evident as she actively works with clients to help them achieve their real estate goals. Edwina takes pride in offering personalized services and prioritizing the needs of her clients, aiming to foster long-term relationships. She is also involved in “The Dollar Empowered Community,” which is a group that focuses on closing the GAP in black wealth.
Edwina’s commitment to community involvement extends beyond her professional endeavors. As an active resident of DeKalb County, Georgia for the past 20 years, she has been actively engaged in the Stonecrest Business Alliance, Stonecrest Chamber of Commerce, Stonecrest Civic Association and ABWA Hidden Hills Chapter. She is a graduate of the Leadership Dekalb Class of 2021.
Balancing her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, Edwina takes pride in managing her various responsibilities while making a difference in her community.
