The NAACP DeKalb County Branch in collaboration with Justice 4 Veterans will hold a press
conference tomorrow December 22, 2022, at 1:00pm, calling for a “Pause” on violence
during the holiday season. The event is being held at the entrance to Omega World Center
at 3951 Snapfinger Parkway, Decatur Georgia. This was the site of the tragic death of 19-
year-old, Janactia Whitehead.
The purpose of the event is to make the community aware that during this Holiday season
that if you are having feelings of hopelessness, angry or feel in danger “Pause” and call for
