7. Vehicle Transfer Requirements

Before receiving the vehicle, the selected winner must:

• Provide a valid driver’s license
• Show proof of insurance
• Sign all liability and transfer documents
• Complete all title transfer paperwork required by the State of Georgia

Failure to complete required documentation may result in forfeiture of the prize.

8. Release of Liability

By entering the contest, participants and guardians agree to release and hold harmless:

• NAACP, DeKalb County Branch and Dadication, Inc.
• Its owners, employees, affiliates, sponsors, and partners from any liability, injury, loss, or damages arising from:

• Participation in the contest
• Acceptance or use of the prize vehicle
• Mechanical issues or accidents involving the vehicle after transfer
• or causes of action arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with participation or winning the Father’s Day Car Giveaway.

9. Release
   
   By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Company, its employees and agents, the Contest’s sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in the Contest, or from the use of any prize.  In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by the Company.

By entering, participants and winners grant permission for Sponsor to use:

• Names
• Photos
• Videos
• Likeness
• Testimonials

for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Verification & Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to:

• Verify eligibility
• Request proof of age or residency
• Disqualify fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate entries
• Cancel or modify the contest if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances

11. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win this contest.

A purchase does not increase chances of winning.

By submitting this entry, participants acknowledge and agree that this submission does not constitute a contract or binding agreement of any kind between the participant and the NAACP, Dekalb County Branch and Dadication, Inc. and there is absolutely no guarantee of winning any prize.

12. Compliance With Laws (Taxes)

Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Void where prohibited by law.

Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the Company, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner must be reported for tax purposes as required by law.  Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes (including vehicle tax, title and license fees). Each winner must provide the Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Using false names or identification will immediately disqualify contestant. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize.  Any person winning the Father’s Day Car Giveaway will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

13. Winner Notification

Winner MUST be present to win.

If the selected winner is NOT present and/or does not claim prize within 15 minutes of announcement, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.
