OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. Contest Overview
The “Why My Dad Deserves a Car” Father’s Day Contest is designed to give middle school age students
an opportunity to honor their father or father figure by submitting a short video explaining why their
dad deserves to win a free vehicle.
2. Eligibility
Contest is open to students ages 11–14 (middle school age).
Participant must reside in the State of Georgia.
Parent or legal guardian permission is required for entry.
The nominated father/father figure must:
o Be at least 18 years old
o Possess a valid driver’s license
o Be legally able to register and insure a vehicle
Employees, immediate family members, or affiliates of the sponsoring organizations are not
eligible to win.
3. How to Enter
To enter the contest, participants must:
1. Submit a video no longer than 2 minutes.
2. Explain:
o Why their Dad or Father Figure deserves to win a car
o How winning the vehicle would positively impact their family
3. Upload the video through:
o NAACPDEKALB.ORG
4. Include:
o Student’s first name and age
o Parent/guardian contact information
o Name of nominated father/father figure
Only one entry per child is permitted.
4. Video Requirements
Videos:
Must be original content created by the participant
Must not exceed 2 minutes
Must not contain:
o Profanity
o Hate speech
o Violence
o Copyrighted music or content without permission
o Inappropriate or offensive material
Must comply with all applicable social media platform rules if posted online
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any submission deemed inappropriate or fraudulent.
All entries become the property of the Company and will not be returned.
5. Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on:
Authenticity and sincerity
Creativity
Emotional impact
Overall story/message
Judging decisions are final.
6. Prize Details
One selected winner will receive:
One vehicle (“Prize Vehicle”)
Prize conditions:
Vehicle is awarded “AS IS”
No cash alternative or substitutions unless determined by Sponsor
Winner is responsible for:
o Vehicle registration
o Insurance
o Title fees
o Taxes, if applicable
o Any future maintenance or repairs
Sponsor makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the vehicle.
