Must be a member in good standing by May 1

Vote in Branch Election

Must be a member in good standing 30 days before the election

Check with branch secretary if you are unsure

Electronic Voting ONLY

All voting will happen by email or smart phone

Make sure you submit either to secretary before September 1

General Meeting Members Decide on Election Day

All elections will be in NOVEMBER of 2024

General Meeting Nominating Committee is elected

Only members in good standing can participate.  Members will elect the Nominating Committee, that includes no less than 5 members and no more than 15 members. No more than 2 of these committee members shall be Officers and/or a member of the Executive Committee.

October

General Meeting Nominations at general meeting and the election of the Election Supervisory Committee

Election Supervisory Committee will work with national to answer questions about the ballot for members.  The Nominating Committee will present its report and receive nominations from the floor, the Chair, or a member of the Nominating Committee. No officer of the Branch or any candidate for office shall chair the nominating process.  After candidates are identified, the Election Supervisory Committee should be elected. Please note: all questions regarding the eligibility of candidates must be resolved prior to the conclusion of the October meeting.

November

Elections –

The polls will stay open a minimum of 4 hrs.  Members will decide on time needed.  Election buddy will send results to ALL voters at the close of the election.

December

Transition of roles

All previous officers have 30 days to give new officers all information necessary to maintain continuity in the branch.
