Rev. Dr. Steven N. Dial, Sr., passed from this life on August 16, 2023. Rev. Dr. Steven N. Dial, Sr. was an active member of the NAACP DeKalb and was highly regarded for his unwavering support and partnership to the branch and was an elected at-large member of the Executive Committee. He had a strong dedication to the spiritual growth of the community and worked tirelessly bridging the gap with key institutions both private and public, The DeKalb Council on Literacy, The Technical College System of Georgia, NAACP, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., DeKalb County School District, DeKalb County Government and other prominent organizations locally and nationally.
